Connecting Communities for nature recovery
Our Mission:
Our mission is to create meaningful connections between people and nature, promoting both ecological restoration and heritage skill development while improving the health and wellbeing of participants. We encourage local people to form their own groups to help nature recovery. We will help guide groups until they are self-supporting and create links between groups to help share knowledge and skills.

Coppicing
Sustainable Practices
Coppicing is a key practice we promote, allowing trees to regrow while providing valuable resources. This sustainable method supports biodiversity and educates communities about responsible woodland management that has been practiced for thousands of years.

Education
Knowledge Sharing
We organize workshops and events that teach heritage skills related to woodland management. These educational opportunities empower individuals and foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of our natural environment. They provide a broad understanding of past practices that are very relevant today.

Tree nurseries for community projects
By the action of coppicing the ground gets more daylight allowing seeds in the ground to germinate. The tree seeds are useful for local community tree planting projects to further assist nature recovery
